Bilawal Bhutto to visit flood-hit areas of Punjab soon

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab President Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo has said that party chairman Bilawal Bhutto will soon visit the flood-hit areas of the Punjab province to express solidarity with the flood victims and also distribute the relief goods among them.
Chairing a meeting of the Punjab Executive Council on Tuesday, he informed the party leadership about the upcoming visit of the party chairman. The meeting was attended by the divisional coordinators, districts and tehsil presidents, ticket holders hailing from the districts of Lahore, Gujranwala and Faislabad divisions.
Wattoo apprised the participants about his meeting with the party chairman and the co-chairman in Karachi where he went to receive trucks loaded with relief goods from the party leadership. He said that he apprised the chairman and the co-chairman about the flood devastations in Gujranwala and Faisalabad divisions and underscored the urgency of supplying tents in the area on urgent basis.
Immediately, the co-chairman issued instructions to purchase tents of five crores rupees for the people and handed over to the provincial party immediately for distribution among the shelter less people in the flooded areas. He appreciated the generous donations by the party high command and said that the arrival of 50 trucks of relief goods would greatly help the flood victims to overcome their difficult times.
