Peshawar locals have continued to suffer drinking water issue despite Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government’s tall claims, reported on Thursday.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had promised to ensure supply of clean water in the province after coming into power.
PTI chief Imran Khan directed the provincial minister Shah Farman to complete the task in three years but no step has been taken in this regard so far.
The damaged water pipelines in Gulbahar, Lahori, Nishtarabad Nagri and other walled areas are causing diseases among the natives whereas Peshawar people are bound to drink stinky and polluted water which is increasing liver illness.
Moreover, the locals have demanded the district administration to resolve the matter as early as possible.
