Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information, Moula Bux Chandio Saturday said the Panama Leaks had the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) worried.
Speaking to newsmen here, Chandio said the ruling PML-N was trying to provoke his party as well as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), adding that the Panama Papers case is not going to let the rulers take a sigh of relief.
The PPP leader warned the PML-N that there would be tense days ahead if his party’s four demands were not met by December 27. “If you are well-wishers of the PM, then you should resolve issues,” he advised.
He also criticised the PTI recalling that Imran Khan had made lofty claims at the time of Raiwind march, but reaching there the PTI chief told people he wasn’t aware of the holy month of Muharram approaching ahead.
Commenting on splitting of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the provincial adviser said nobody divided the MQM, rather the party itself did so.
It is pertinent to note here that Bilawal had laid four demands before the government during his address in Karachi on October 17. The demands were:
- Formation of a parliamentary committee on national security
- Passage of PPP’s Panama Bill
- Implementation of Asif Ali Zardari’s resolution on CPEC
- Appointment of a foreign minister
