Pakistan - PPP to celebrate ZAB’s 88th birth anniversary on 5th







Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah here on Friday announced to celebrate the 88th birth anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in the province on January 5.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who also heads the of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Sindh, said special sessions of cake cutting and seminars will be held at all the district headquarters and zonal offices of PPP across the province.

All party workers, office-bearers as well as party MPAs, MNAs and senators will attend the programmes organised to pay tribute to the PPP founder and martyred leader of the country, said PPP – Sindh president.

Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party Chairman (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has felicitated the newly-elected office-bearers of the Karachi Press Club (KPC) and Peshawar Press Club (PPC).

In a message on Friday, he said that Pakistan People’s Party and the journalists community had struggled together for the restoration of democracy.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also appreciated that the Karachi Press Club has become the oldest democratic institution where elections are always held in time for about half a century.

Separately, on the behalf of Pakistan People’s Party chairman, Bilawal House media team members Aijaz Durani, Fida Hussain Dhakan and Aakash Santorai visited KPC and presented a bouquet and congratulation letter to Karachi Press Club President Fazil Jamili.

Other office-bearers of the KPC and senior journalists were also present on the occasion, said sources.
