CM Sindh condemns the theft of statue, sacred objects from Hindu shrine

The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has strictly condemned the theft of a statue, some other sacred objects from a Hindu shrine near Mithi and attempt to desecrate the Hindu worship places. He termed these attempts as conspiracy to trigger communal riots in the province. He said that some anti-state elements, who do not want Peace, tolerance and brotherhood among the people, are behind this conspiracy, the Chief Minister vowed that the government not to allow anyone to pitch any segment of society against other one by creating religious or ethnic issues between them. The Chief Minister said that each minority should to enjoy all rights equally to other societies in the province. He said that the Sindh government to provide full protection to minorities, worships, and their business here in Sindh province. He directed the Inspector General Police to put all the intelligence network at his disposal in the field and unearth / detect the conspirators against this heinous crime and take strict but exemplary action against this gang of criminals and their supporters. The Chief Minister Sindh also directed all the DIGs, SSPs and District Administration in Sindh to be vigilant and ensure foolproof security at all worships of minorities. The Chief Minister Sindh while expressing his solidarity with all minorities specially with Hindu Communities assured them that their rights provided in constitution would be protected at any cost. He said that there was a big majority of minorities supporting the PPP and PPP would stand with them to protect.
