Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is a symbol of the power of the people in Pakistan

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a symbol of the power of the people, and the importance and effectiveness of his ideology, struggle and sacrifice are never going to end.
According to the message issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, Chairman PPP in his message on the 95th birth anniversary of Pakistan’s first elected Prime Minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, said that Bhutto is an ideology, and those whoever tried to erase it became nameless dust in the history, while Bhutto’s name still resonates in the streets of Pakistan as well as in the every nook and corner of the world.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Quaid-e-Awam was the most popular leader of the nation after Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who took the country forward politically, economically and socially through his sincerity, prudence and hard work. He further said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto armed the people with political consciousness and empowered them, gave the country its first consensus constitution and nuclear programme, made Pakistan the center of the Islamic world and laid the foundation of Pakistan-China relations. “Transforming Pakistan-China relations into an unbreakable friendship is also the hallmark of Chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto,” he pointed out.
Chairman PPP said that the Quaid-e-Awam, as the first elected Prime Minister of the country, gave the right to workers in Pakistan to form trade unions and ended anti-labour policies, adding that on ther other hand, by carrying out agricultural reforms, land was granted to the landless farmers and the poors were made the owners of houses.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto struggled throughout her life to promote the ideology of Quaid-e-Awam to complete his mission and did not care about her life even. He reiterated his commitment to continue the struggle of his Party to protect the 1973 Constitution, strengthen democracy, promote tolerance and equality and develop Pakistan as a role model state of the Islamic world in the light of the vision and mission of the founding Chairmanof his party, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
