Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday said that by making false allegations of money laundering and corruption, Prime Minister Imran Khan has brought the country to the brink of being blacklisted.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, he lambasted the PTI government’s poor economic planning and said that it was a matter of shame that Pakistan along with the backward countries like Cambodia, Ghana and Zimbabwe could not get out of the grey list of Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
Bilawal said that the PPP had devised an effective strategy to get out of the grey list.
The PPP chairman went on to say that the PPP government had given the country the status of GSP Plus from the European Union.
He said that PM Imran Khan s campaign against corruption is in fact a fraud against the nation, adding that interacting with the public on telephone won’t get the country out of tsunami of inflation.
