Mehdi Shah is the “Baba-e-Rozgar” for Gilgit Baltistan, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

 

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto ended FCR from Gilgit Baltistan, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto served the people of GB and President Zardari gave identity to the people of Gilgit Baltistan, gave the first assembly to Gilgit Baltistan, gave first governor and gave first Chief Minister to Gilgit Baltistan. Now this election is not for coming to power but this is a struggle for a better future for the people of Gilgit Baltistan.

Chairman PPP said this while addressing a corner meeting at Skardu. Former governor GB Qamar Zaman Kaira and former chief minister GB Mehdi Shah, Saadia Danish and Babu Astori were also with the chairman PPP on the occasion.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paying rich tributes to jiyalas who struggled for democracy and posperity with Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto said that former chief minister Mehdi Shah is the one who has been a jiyala since the time of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He called Mehdi Shah “Baba-e-Rozgar” because he provided employment to 25 thousand youth of GB. He said that we will give similar rights to the people of GB which the people of the rest of the country are enjoying. Now this is the promise of the grandson of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and son of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto that his first priority will be to provide jobs to the youth of GB. PPP always provides jobs and reinstate those who lose their jobs during fascist governments. Chairman PPP said that for getting employment and rights the people of GB will have to vote for the PPP. With your vote we will be able to save you from the destruction of PTI government, he said.

Chairman PPP said that he wants to establish free hospitals like he has in Sindh. He wants to give every laborer a Benazir Laborer card like Sindh. He wants to establish a power plant like he has established the Thar coal power plant in Sindh.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that today every section of the society from lady health workers to the government employees are protesting against PTI government. The puppet party (PTI) has pitched its puppet in this constituency but the people know them and will reject them. He said that people of GB need a brave representative and he is their representative so go door to door and deliver the message of the party and bring them out on the polling day to stamp the arrow on the ballot paper. He said that he wants to fulfill the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He warned that if the votes of the people of GB are stolen then he will be in Islamabad with the people of GB protesting against this theft. He said that he will remain in GB till 15th November and will celebrate the victory in the elections with the people of GB.

Earlier the PPP Chairman met with the members of Peoples Lawyers’ Forum and a delegation of district Bar in Skardu. He also inaugurated party election offices at Satpara road, Haji Gam and Newranga. He inaugurated Peoples Youth office at Hassan colony chowk. He also addressed workers at the Peoples Youth office and said that the Peoples Youth was established by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. The youth of the country need a young leadership but the youth of the country were cheated by a player. The youth needs to tread the path of democracy which leads to prosperity. The biggest issue confronted by the youth is employment which only PPP can provide.
