#Pakistan well within its right to retaliate: Bilawal Bhutto

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said on Tuesday that Pakistan is well within its right to retaliate against the Indian violation of the LoC and alleged claim of targeting terrorist camp.
Indian military aircraft violated the LoC as they intruded from the Muzaffarabad sector but were forced to return owing to the timely response of the Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor said early Tuesday.
Following the development, political leaders of the country immediately condemned the blatant act of war-mongering.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto sent out a series of tweets, where he said that the outrageous act of aggression should be condemned internationally.
“India has chosen to respond to a homegrown, organic freedom fighters attack in Indian occupied Kashmir by conducting an airstrike on Pakistan soil for the first time since 1971,” he said.
He said that the entire nation should stand with Pakistani soldiers, who risk their lives protecting the country.
“Atrocious that the extremist Hindutva government of the so called largest democracy in the world would risk provoking war between two nuclear armed states, to feed war hysteria at home and help with Modi’s re-election campaign,” said the PPP chairman in another tweet.
Bilawal Bhutto said that he was glad a joint session of the parliament was summoned, which is an appropriate forum to discuss the matter.
The PPP leader also asked the Pakistani leadership to exercise caution: “While the whole nation will stand united with whatever decision is taken it is important for Pakistan to be cautious.”
Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan shouldn’t play into Indian PM narendra Modi’s hands and proponents of peace from both sides of the border should let better sense prevail.
