Opposition members in the Punjab Assembly boycotted the proceedings on Wednesday in protest against the killings of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) workers in Karachi.
Members of the opposition walked out of the assembly and briefly arranged a sit-in on assembly building’s stairs.
Pakistan Peoples Party MPA Khurrum Wattoo said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed were responsible for the incident.
“The government has refreshed memories of the Model Town incident once again,” He added.
