30th January parks the first death anniversary of martyrs of Shikarpur incident. A condolence meeting has been organized in Shikarpur at this occasion in which several senior Ulema have been participating.
According to details, a bomb blast had taken place during Friday prayers at an Imambargah in Shikarpur, last year at 30th January killing 61 worshipers.
Strict operation was demanded after the incident against terrorists and a protest campaign was also initiated and a long march was also carried out from Shikarpur to Chief Minister House in Karachi. Sources told that all terrorists of Shikarpur incident have been killed and leader of LeJ, the party which accepted the responsibility of the attack, Malik Ishaq had also been killed in police encounter.
