Muhammad Ali Jinnah's idea of Pakistan to project it as secular Muslimmajority state lost its meaning ever since it failed to protect the minorities in its contours. The Hindu minority in Pakistan is today living in constant threat and their plight often goes unheeded, a report stated on Thursday.
A report by BBC Urdu claims that minor Hindu girls are being abducted and forced to embrace Islam in Pakistan after which they are married off.
Around 80 lac Hindus reside in Pakistan today, most of whom live in the southern province of Sindh, yet there is no law that prevents such brutal acts against the community, the report further added.
