Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Party stalwart and Member of Central Executive Committee Qazi Sultan Mahmood of Rawalpindi who passed away this morning.
“It has saddened me that a loyal Jiyala who braved tortures in notorious Lal Qila cells during Martial Law, numerous imprisonments and sacrificed immensely during last four decades is no more with us,” Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said.
PPP Chairman said that unflinching loyalty, commitment and affiliation to the Party made Qazi Sultan Mahmood a tall personality who dedicated all his abilities for the Party and its struggle for restoration of democracy for three generations of the leadership.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid glowing tributes to Qazi Sultan Mahmood and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in peace and grant courage to the members of bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
