Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo, President Punjab PPP, has expressed his deep sense of shock and grief over the passing away of Col (Rtd) Shuja Khanzada in a suicide attack today in his village district Attock.
He condemned in the strongest terms the coward act of today and said that such abhorrent activities of terrorists would not weaken the resolve of the nation rather strengthen it to defeat terrorism and extremism thoroughly.
He added that the nation and the military leadership were on the same page to defeat the scourge under the National Action Plan adding the people of Pakistan would spare no effort to root out the menace.
He recalled that the PPP was the worst hit Party of terrorism as it took away their leader Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and the nation was deprived of a very popular and most courageous leader.
He said that the PPP had been in favor of taking on terrorists on their Aturf right from the beginning because they were neither human beings nor Muslim.
