Pakistan - Asif Zardari tells Imran to shun criticism, protect KP people

Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari Friday said rather than criticizing others the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan should focus on ensuring protection to the people’s lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Asif Zardari, Awamai National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain denounced today’s deadly attack on an Imambargah in Peshawar, saying they are deeply grieved at the loss of innocent lives.

Asfandyar Wali Khan said his heart goes out to the bereaved family members of the martyred victims.

MQM Chief Altaf Hussain said those who blew up the ‘house of Allah’ do not deserve to be referred to as humans. “In Islam a murder of a single human being is tantamount to the killing of the whole mankind,” he said.

He said those who kill innocent citizens are the open enemies of Islam and humanity.
