Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday expressed the resolve to meet all the necessities of the families of the Sindh Police martyrs.
Speaking at a ceremony held to distribute cheques among families of police martyrs on Wednesday, Zardari said that he considers the children of slain policemen as his own. He said that he would stand by the police and not let them feel alone in whatever the circumstances will be. He added that the PPP stands by the families of the martyrs and will meet their demands.
He said that the people who love Bhuttoism do not fear martyrdom. He added that nobody could forcefully impose his thinking on them. He expressed a resolve to provide free education to the children of martyrs. He regretted the delay in release of payment, but he said that non-registration caused the hurdle. “I pay tribute to the brave youth of Sindh police,” he said. “Our government will fulfill all the needs of families of martyred policemen.”
