Pakistan - Up to 10 hours load shedding per day troubles Lahoris










The electricity load shedding of up to 10 hours a day has irked citizens in various areas of Lahore.
The affected areas included Rasool Park Ichra, Walton Road, Madina Colony (Shalamar), Baghbanpura, Kotli, Pir Abdul Rehman, Rasheedpura, Ghaziabad, Samanabad, Green Town and Township.
The residents of the affected areas have complained and reported of 8 to 10 hours of load shedding per day.
Meanwhile, the gas shortage has also been reported. The gas pressure decreases at 6am in the morning and remains down until 10pm. The pressure is restored at 4 in the evening but reduces again in a couple of hours until 10 in the evening.
Locals have complained that the authorities are not paying any attention despite repeated complaints.
An officer from Gas Company’s Regional Complaint Cell (Emergency Cell) told Daily Dunya on condition of anonymity that the company has found after investigation that there is no gas pressure in the pipelines that could be relayed to the consumers.
