PPP Human Rights Cell Central coordinator Dr Nafisa Shah has strongly condemned the mob violence against a Christian couple which has caused their death and demanded that culprits be arrested and given exemplary punishment. She has further demanded that a judicial commission be set up to enquire into the misuse of blasphemy laws so that adequate amendments may be made against those who wrongfully accuse someone. The misuse of these laws has led to constant insecurity among the minorities and has allowed people to take law into their own hands. It has also made it increasingly difficult for the judiciary to do justice as it is under pressure from religious zealots. It is therefore urgent that lawmakers and judges join hands to find a solution to this grave issue.mediacellppp.wordpress.com
