Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairperson, Pakistan People’s Party has reiterated his commitment to transform Pakistan into an egalitarian country as dreamt by Founder of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and paid illuminating tributes to him on his 66th death anniversary being observed across the country.
“Father of our nation won freedom for all of us through a democratic struggle. Subsequent popular leaders like Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto waged democratic struggle to emancipate the people from perpetual dictatorships. Today, we all need to continue our quest for a strong and durable democracy leaving aside other political differences,” Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated in his message on the occasion. PPP Chairperson said we can only stand proudly in the community of nations through the philosophy of our founder that is – Unity, Faith & Discipline – for any deviation from following his golden words will lead us to chaos and anarchy.
He said history has proven that it were the dictatorial forces who ruthlessly crushed democratic struggles carried out for Unity, Faith & Discipline to restore the People’s usurped rights and conspiracies still continue against the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Pakistan People’s Party and its leadership will follow the foot-steps of the Founder of the Nation and adopt peaceful struggle, like him, to achieve his unfulfilled dreams about a progressive Pakistan where all are equal before a model democratic Muslim nation in the world.
He said PPP is the true torchbearer of philosophy of Quaid-e-Azam and we sacrificed lives of our two elected Prime Ministers during struggle for achieving the mission of the Founder of our nation.
