According to reports, Afghan candidates Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai have reached to an agreement for the formation of national unity government.
The electoral camps of Dr. Abdullah and Dr. Ghani confirmed that the two candidates have resolved all the differences between the two camps to form a unity government.
An agreement for the formation of a unity government is expected to be signed by the two candidates on Saturday.
This comes as former jihadi leaders, heads of executive, legislative and judiciary organs of the government along with influential leaders met with the two candidates on Friday to help resolve the election deadlock.
