Former President Asif Ali Zardari has condemned police torture and tear gas shelling on protesters in Islamabad.In a statement he said that torture on women and children was intolerable. He urged the government and the protesters to resolve their issues through talks. He also condemned shelling on Shujaat Hussain and telephoned Pervez Elahi to inquire about the health of the PML-Q
