Pakistan: Shahbaz Sharif involved in Model Town tragedy

Pakistan Awami Tahreek (PAT) Chief, Dr. Tahirul Qadri Sunday said that Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif was involved in the Model town carnage, which was evident from the available recording of phone calls to be made public when time comes, Geo News reported.
Addressing a press conference at Minhajul Quran Secretariat, Dr. Tahirul Qadri said that no one was accepting the responsibility of the Model Town tragedy, how could they accept the responsibility of the murders of democracy and the constitution.
Dr. Tahirul Qadri said that the rulers have let the accused police officers run away from the country. He said we followed the path of constitution and the law and submitted a petition for the registration of FIR against the nominated accused persons.
Dr. Qadri said that for peace and upholding the principle of no-violence his party refrained from any step that could have smashed the Jati Umra palace in Raiwind and would not have buried the coffins of martyrs until the end of the Punjab government.
PAT Chief said that there was nothing like constitution and law in Pakistan in reality. He enquired from the western countries had not the government resigned, if Lahore-like tragic incident occurred in any of their countries.
