Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has strongly condemned silence of Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab, on incident of gang rape of 8 years old Christian girl in district Sialkot of Punjab from a constituency where National Assembly of Pakistan and Punjab Assembly seats are won by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Group PML (N) of CM of Punjab and Mian Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan who is elder brother of Mian Shahbaz Sharif ruling Pakistan.
8 years old Christian girl was gang raped by 3 Muslims on Easter Day in village Malloke in Sub-District Daska of District Sialkot. On Pressure of media, police arrested three culprits but released one and kidnapped father of victim girl to press upon to withdraw case that bail may be granted to other two rapists. The family of culprits is very influential and has contacts with leaders of ruling PML (N) who are supporting them.
Whenever, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz PML (N) comes in power in Pakistan the violence raises to its peak against religious minorities in general and against Christians in particulars. In 1997, when Mian Nawaz Shrif was Prime Minister of Pakistan, a Christian village named Shanti Nagar was burnt to ashes and none of culprit was brought to justice and report of high level Commission formed to investigate incident of Shanti Nagar was never published.
When, Mian Shahbaz Sharif became Chief Minister of Punjab then incident of Gojra took place where Muslim mob set of fire more than 60 homes and burnt alive 8 Christians; there were similar attacks in villages Korian and village Bahminwali in District Kasur on Christian life and property. A Judicial Commission was also formed to investigate Gojra carnage and its report was posted on Government of Punjab Website but none was punished instead police officers who failed to protect life of Christians were promoted by Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
The Christian women were paraded naked in District Kasur but accused are free on bails and making mockery of justice. There are rising number of blasphemy cases against Christians in Punjab province of Pakistan which is ruled by PML (N) leader Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
Hundreds of Christians from Punjab province are fleeing from Pakistan and taking refuge in other countries of South and South East Asia after rule of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Group PML (N) and substandard treatment of Mian Shahbaz Sharif toward Christian.
The Victims of Joseph Colony Lahore are living under fear and fleeing from their homes after attack which destroyed more than hundred homes in heart of capital of Punjab under nose of Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
Dr. Nazir S Bhatti said “If justice is not ensured and Muslim culprits in 8 year old Christian’s gang rape case are set free then PCC will be forced to take right action”
Nazir Bhatti demanded immediate adequate security for family of Christian girl when they are not allowed to enter in their home by influential Muslim landlord of village.
