The 86th birth anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, founder of the Pakistan People’s Party‚ observed across the country on Sunday.
Born on January 5‚ 1928 Zulfikar Ali Bhutto laid the basis for the democratic process in the country with the formation of Pakistan People’s Party on November 30‚ 1967.
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto made country’s defence impregnable by starting nuclear programme. He made possible the consensus enactment of constitution of 1973.
Special arrangements have been made for the birthday while key PPP leaders came Garhi Khuda Bux and cut the cake of Bhutto s birthday.
Similar programs and seminars were conducted in various cities and towns across the country while Jiyallas cut the birthday cakes.
