PAKISTAN GOVERNMENT UNMOVED ON SECTARIAN KILLINGS

For the past many years, some fanatics and sectarian terrorists are targeting the innocent people in Quetta merely because they belonged to another sect. Hundreds of innocent people who committed no crime had been killed in cold blood and the Government or state institutions failed to resolve this mystery to this date. A sectarian organization had been claiming the responsibility after every killing in Quetta. It is surprising that the State is unable to bust the gangs of killers of innocent people. The whereabouts of the sectarian outfit are known to the State and its institutions and still the Government is reluctant to put an end to the unjustified and uncalled killing of its innocent citizens merely because they belonged to another sect. The killers and murderers must be unearthed and it is the right of the people of Pakistan to know what action the Government and its institutions had taken to protect life, property and honour of the people. Again it is the duty of the Government to stop a spill over of intelligence war into Pakistan and the citizens of this country should not be the victims of intelligence wars being fought somewhere else in the world. Pakistan should not be the battle ground for fighting sectarianism and killing the people belonging to the tiny Muslim sect. They got inalienable right to live in this country with honour and dignity and no group of terrorists should be allowed to intimidate them on any pretext. It is shocking that the Government is calm and unmoved on sectarian killing going on in Quetta for the past many years which left hundreds of Pakistanis killed for their no crime. It is also surprising that the Supreme Court is not interested to defend the fundamental rights of the citizens of Pakistan to live with honour and there should be no threat to his life. The Supreme Court is busy in handling high profile cases for obvious reasons ignoring the violation of fundamental rights of the Pakistani citizens facing death threat from fascist and terrorist outfits. If the Government is unmoved and reluctant to take any action, then the Supreme Court should jump in and protect the lives of innocent citizens of Pakistan from the sectarian outfits.
