In addition donations have been made to the Pakistan flood victims, hospitals and Imran Khan’s 100 Villages Rebuild Programme, plus many other causes that include 19 water purification plants.
The charity was officially launched earlier this month at the House of Lords under the patronage of Lord Nazir Ahmed who has been named as its ambassador.
The charity chairman Saeed Hama thanked Annie for her support in becoming an Ambassador for the charity and her donation of her new song to be made exclusive to the charity.
Annie said:
“Poverty is a big issue in this world and nobody should be hungry, the ‘Circle of Life’ has done so much good work and I want to support their cause and spread their message for this noble cause.”
