Int’l flights from Peshawar allowed

Peshawar—The approval for international flights from Peshawar International Airport has been given after the improvement of law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa.

In this connection first direct flight will take off from Peshawar International Airport to London here on Friday, it is to be mention that direct international flights from Peshawar International Airport have been canceled, after the critical situation of KPK after 9/11 incident, however it has been started again after the removal of sanctions which was imposed by European Unions, America and Britain.

Sources told that higher security officials from America and Britain have visited to Peshawar and Lahore airport for inspection last month, after their approval clearance has been given for international flights.

In this context first international from Peshawar will take off on Friday after that international flights for others country will also be started soon.

Airline sources told that special arrangements are being made for the landing of flights at night and after completing arrangements landing for national and international flights have been started. Sources added that the extension of Peshawar Airport would be started after the rescheduling of international flights on Peshawar International airport, however runway has been extended
