Message of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on the eve of PPP’s 51st Foundation Day

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that he would keep struggling to attain the goals set by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. The legacy of these two apex leaders is the true hierarchy of the party and the leadership and the designees and Jiyalas are all set to work harder for the cause.

In his message on the eve of PPP’s 51st Foundation Day, the PPP Chairman expressed his firm resolve to follow the ideology of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and philosophy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. “PPP leadership and Jiyalas have already showed their devotion by setting up an example of their untiring efforts with firm trust in their leaders”, said the PPP Chairman adding that “Their role and contribution would be written in history and their struggle against the forces of tyranny and injustices would bear fruits sooner.”

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari vowed that the party will keep striving for strengthening the democratic institutions, the supremacy of the Parliament and a workable justice system and rule of law.
He said the PPP had offered the 1973 constitution, gave Pakistan status of being invincible through nuclear programme, remedied the wounded Pakistan in 1971, drove India to reach the historic Simla Accord, made the provinces autonomous and devolved powers to the provinces and the Parliament. The Party leadership made the Parliament all-powerful as per the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa and Gilgit-Baltistan got identity during PPP’s government and the farmers had for the first time in history started getting appropriate price of their crops.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that there is no question about party’s unending struggle for strong democracy and those, who are working against the democracy and the supremacy of the Parliament would be defeated.
