Pakistan - Zardari assigns task to party leaders to stop 'horse trading'


Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday assigned key tasks to party leaders to stop ‘horse trading’ in the Senate elections. Zardari is reportedly contacting political parties himself for this purpose, Dunya News reported.
According to the sources, Khursheed Shah, Rehman Malik, Farhatullah Babar and Khanzada Khan have been assigned tasks by party’s top leadership in order to prevent ‘horse trading’ in Senate elections.
Khanzada has been tasked with talking to leaders of the political parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly, Rehman Malik with talking to MQM and other parties and Khursheed Shah and Farhatullah Babar are establishing contacts with ANP, PML-N, Sherpao group and other political parties. They have also met ANP chief Asfandyar Wali only a day ago.
