#Pakistan - Bilawal mocks Modi for lying about shooting F-16

Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari mocked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday for blatantly lying about downing Pakistani fighter jet F-16 in the Feb 28 aerial combat.
After being severely criticized for his comments seemingly denting Pakistan’s stance on recent Pak-India crisis, Bilawal came down hard on the Indian government in his latest tweet today.

Quoting the tweet of a Pentagon correspondent of the US magazine, who has written a scoop story rejecting the Indian claim of shooting down Pakistani F-16 during recent escalation in February, the PPP leader mockingly told Modi: “Oh dear how embarrassing, if you are going to lie at least try something more believable?”Bilawal further schooled India saying, “Everyone knows you guys can’t aim. When you lie you don’t hurt others, you hurt yourself. The great nation of India can do better. Its people deserve better.”
A leading US magazine Foreign Policy rubbished all Indian claims quoting two senior US defense officials who had the direct knowledge of the situation.
The defense officials told the magazine that the US personnel recently counted F-16s in Pakistan and found none of them missing.
The magazine said, India has once again misled the world through baseless and false claims.
The findings directly contradict the account of Indian Air Force officials, which claimed shooting down a Pakistani F-16 in a recent dogfight.
One of the senior US defense officials maintained that Pakistan invited the United States to physically count its F-16 planes after the incident, as a part of an end-user agreement signed when the foreign military sale was finalized about the fighter jet.
