#Pakistan - Bilawal Bhutto warns Balochistan crisis can spread to federal government

Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday questioned how the PPP could be behind any conspiracy against the Balochistan government when it does not even have a single seat in the provincial parliament.
“We don’t have even a single member in the (Balochistan) assembly. How can we be behind any conspiracy,” he said while addressing media, adding that the PPP will come up with their stance in the few days.
He hoped that the parliament will complete it tenure, but warned that the conspiracy can also spread to the federal government.
“When the assemblies don’t complete their tenure, then it would be a huge failure of the PML-N govt.”
The Balochistan government is facing a severe political crises as a no-confidence is being moved against chief minister Sanaullah Zehri, while several provincial ministers and advisors have tendered their resignations.
Regarding the Model Town incident, Bilawal said they will accept the decision made by the steering committee set up after the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) led all-parties conference of which the PPP is also a part.
Bilawal said they have faced dictators in the past and are afraid of falsified and fabricated cases. “We have faced PML-N, Zia, Musharraf in the past. We are not afraid of facing any false cases,” he said.
He said that Sindh was the only province which has a poverty alleviation programme, and that the development should not be gauged by metro buses and their projects should also be acknowledged.
