Ivanka Trump And Chelsea Clinton Come To Malia Obama’s Defense Against The Tabloids

Former first daughter Malia Obama spent a good part of her adolescence in the national spotlight as her dad, you know, led the free world for eight years. For the better part of 2017, she’s been a private citizen.
But certain media outlets aren’t making it easy for her.
After two stories about the 19-year-old’s personal life appeared in tabloid and conservative media, voices from both ends of the political spectrum called for giving the young Obama her privacy.
“Malia Obama should be allowed the same privacy as her school aged peers,” Ivanka Trump tweeted on Friday. “She is a young adult and private citizen, and should be OFF limits.”
Chelsea Clinton, a persistent advocate for privacy when it comes to kids living in the White House, chimed in shortly afterward.
“Malia Obama’s private life, as a young woman, a college student, a private citizen, should not be your clickbait,” she wrote. “Be better.”
Since President Donald Trump’s family moved into the White House, Clinton has also been moved to call out media outlets that focus attention on Barron Trump, who is 11 years old.
Leaked video published by the conservative site The Daily Caller and other outlets appeared to show Malia Obama smoking. Another video, published by TMZ along with still photos, showed her kissing someone during a tailgate party for the annual Harvard-Yale football game.
Tabloids claim to have identified the young man as a student at Harvard, where Obama has just begun her freshman year after taking time off following high school. She has expressed interest in pursuing a career in the film industry.
Noticing that Obama’s name was trending due to the gossip headlines, people on social media reacted with pointed jokes about the media’s choices and sober criticisms ― but mainly jokes.

The 34th death anniversary of the legendary Lollywood actor Waheed Murad was observed across the country on Thursday where his fans paid tribute to the late ‘Chocolate Hero’.
Waheed was not only an actor but a film producer and scriptwriter as well. He produced 11 films during his career and acted in 124 Urdu, Punjabi and Pashto films.
He stepped into the film industry in 1962 with the film Aulad in which he played a supporting role. He played a leading role in the film Heera aur Pathar which was released in 1964 and became the start of Waheed’s journey to success.
He was cast in Armaan in 1966 alongside Zeba, Nirala, Rozina and Zahoor Ahmed. The film became an instant hit and turned Waheed into a superstar. Armaan was the first Pakistani film to have spent 75 weeks in cinemas and became the first Platinum Jubilee film in the industry. Waheed received two Nigar Awards for his outstanding production and acting skills.
He was famous for his bold and charming acting style and ruled over the Pakistani film industry in the 60’s and 70’s during which he acted in numerous super hit films.
He died of cardiac arrest on November 23, 1983, and was awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz, the third highest honour and civilian award, for his contributions to the Pakistani film industry.

PPP Women Wing President MNA Faryal Talpur was also present on occasion.
Meeting was attended by President PPP Sindh Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Home Minister Suhail Anwar Sial, Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, Member Central Executive Committee MNA Nawab Yousuf Talpur, PPP Mirpurkhas Division President Aftab Hussain Jillani, President PPP Tharparker Senator Gianchand, President PPP Umerkot Syed Ali Mardan Shah, Ministers Sardar Ali Shah, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Dr Khatumal Jeewan, Nawab Taimoor Talpur, MPAs, Party office-bearers, the elected Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the District Councils, Municipal and Town Committees and notables from both districts.
PPP leaders from Tharparker and Umerkot apprised Asif Ali Zardari about the political landscape of both the districts and the development projects carried out by PPP government in their respective areas.
Addressing the Party leaders, former President Asif Ali Zardari said that both Tharparker and Umerkot districts will immensely benefit from Thar Coal Project, which is going to change the fate of every soul in the area. He said that Thar Coal Project was the dream of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and hoped that it would be completed within schedule and start feeding coal-fired power to national grid by the end of 2019.
