Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned attack on PPP South Punjab Information Secretary Shaukat Basra, in which he suffered injuries while his personal secretary was martyred in Haroonabad, Punjab.
In a press statement, the PPP Chairman said that attacks on the PPP leaders in Punjab were naked form of terrorism and an attempt to scare the Party workers as PPP was gaining strength in Punjab.
He said that PML-N and Zia remnants cannot go scot-free from this crime and described Shaukat Basra as a sepoy of people and democracy.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said PPP leaders and workers cannot be scared through such coward attacks and demanded immediate arrest and punishment to the culprits involved in the attack.
