Aftermath of the Bacha Khan University Attack in Pakistan

Authorities said Wednesday that at least four militants carried out a deadly assault on Bacha Khan University in northwest Pakistan. The reported death toll from the violence, claimed in a statement by the Pakistani Taliban, fluctuated between 19 and 30, according to the Associated Press. The attack in Charsadda recalled the Taliban siege on a school in nearby Peshawar in December 2014, in which more than 150 people—many of them children—were killed.
