Pakistan - SHIA MASSACRE IN PESHAWAR MOSQUE TRIGGERS COUNTRYWIDE PROTEST

Shia namazis massacre during Friday prayer in Hayatabad Peshawar triggered a countrywide wave of protest by Shia Muslims today. Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslim will hold main protest rallies in every nook and cranny of Pakistan on Sunday alongside continuous protest that began today.

Shiite News Correspondents reported that Shia majority areas in all over Pakistan were closed to mourn and protest the brutal suicide bombings in the Friday prayer congregation in Masjid-e-Imamia Hayatabad, Peshawar.
Karachi-bases Shiites began gathering at Soldier Bazaar to stage rally and sit-in near Numaish Chowrangi.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, presided over a hurriedly-called meeting that was held to review the post-bombings situation.
MWM’s cabinet condemned the takfiri terrorist attacks on Shia namazis (worshippers). They expressed concern that within 2 weeks, 2 major terrorist attacks were made during Shia Friday prayer congregations.
Allama Jafari asked the officials to finalize an effective protest against takfiri terrorism on Sunday. He demanded that Chief of Army Staff should launch countrywide protest to crush takfiris.
