Pakistan: Jiyalas head to Mazar-e-Quaid for PPP's grand show

As the day of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) rally dawns upon Karachi, crowds from different parts of the country make their way to Mazar-e-Quaid where party patron-in-chief Bilawal Bhutto is due to speak to his supporters, Express News reported Saturday.
All preparations for the rally – which will mark the anniversary of Benazir Bhutto’s homecoming in 2007 - have been finalised. With thousands of supporters travelling to Karachi to attend the rally, strict security measures have been taken to avoid any untoward incident in the city.
Over 150 walk-through gates have been installed on the way leading to the venue while a check post has also been set up at the mausoleum.
With Bilawal scheduled to speak at 3pm, the PPP rally is expected to be the biggest party gathering since the one in 2007.
