Pakistan: Former PM Gilani urges Govt to provide relief to flood victims

Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani has criticized Government and said that we would not have seen this disaster, if Government had implemented the flood commission report of last year.
He demanded Government to provide relief to the flood afectees without wasting a time.
Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani visited the flood affected area of Multan today. While talking to media, Gillani said that Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif should ask concerned authorities that why they were unable to give information about flood in advance.
Yousuf Raza Gillani said that we can’t hide the weaknesses of Government for the sake of constitution, although we are doing conciliatory politics. He claimed that sit-ins in Islamabad is the result of wrong policies of present Government.
Former Prime Minister further showed his deep sorrow with the flood affected people and said that there is no facilities in relief camps for the common man.
