Pakistan: Peshawar airport cleared after rocket attack

Security officials have cleared Bacha Khan International Airport after a rocket attack here on Sunday night, Samaa reported. According to sources, of the two rockets, fired from unknown location, one almost hit the runway while the other missed the airport premises by a few hundred yards. There was no word on the casualties, if any. Following the attack, Airport Security Force (ASF) scrambled a sweeping search operation in and around the airport, however, no threats were found. Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that all the air-traffic was diverted to other stations after the airport came under fire.
