PM Nawaz, Bilawal Bhutto jointly visit Mithi hospital

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accompanied by patron-in-chief, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited civil hospital Mithi and reviewed medical facilities being provided there to affectees of Tharparkar drought, SAMAA reported. Earlier, the premier arrived in Mirpur Khas to visit the Tharparkar district. He was received by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the airport. The PM was being briefed over ongoing relief activities in the affected areas and health facilities for the affected families. Nawaz Sharif and the PPP leader reviewed medical facilities for affectees and assured government’s full assistance to the famine-hit people of Thar where nearly 50 children have died of malnutrition and negligence in past few days. Hundreds of families have left the affected areas of Tharparkar district. Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, PPP ministers and high officials accompanied the Prime Minister.
