Crimea hopes to remain parliamentary republic if it joins Russia - speaker Konstantinov.

The Crimean leadership hopes Crimea will retain the status of parliamentary republic if it joins Russia.
"Parliamentary republic is our hard-won achievement which has proven effective. We would like to retain the status of parliamentary republic," Vladimir Konstantinov, speaker of the Crimean legislature, told reporters on Sunday in answer to a question from Interfax.
