Bilawal Bhutto’s adviser Surendar Valasai & CM Sindh discuss Thar relief efforts

The Adviser to the PPP Patron-in-Chief for Minorities Affairs, Surendar Valasai, called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the CM House on Saturday and discussed relief activities by the Sindh Government in the drought affected Tharparkar district. The Chief Minister said that the new deputy commissioner and the Superintendent of Police of Tharparkar district have been directed to ensure fair distribution of relief goods among the affected people, said a handout issued here. Surendar Valasai told the Chief Minister that around 50 per cent population of Thar district consists of minorities and they needed relief goods, adding that they are satisfied with the steps being taken by the government.
