Suicide blast in Rawalpindi kills 6, injures 15

A suicide bomb blast near RA Bazaar in Rawalpindi killed six people including three army personnel and injured 15 others, Express News reported on Monday.
The target of the blast was a joint check post of the police and the Pakistan Army.
The blast took place near the General Headquarters of the Pakistan military and the RA police station.
It occurred in front of the National Logistics Cell building.
Security forces have cordoned off the area.
The injured were taken to Combined Military Hospital for medical attention.
Further investigation is underway.
