The spokesperson of Indian External Affairs Ministry touching on opening Taliban office in Qatar emphasized that India is supporting the process of peace to be compatible with the Constitution of Afghanistan and it should be led and administered by the Afghans. He emphasized that the talks should not move beyond the red line that has been agreed between the world community and the Taliban. Spokesperson added, in this process the role of Afghanistan as the main actor should be outstanding. The Indian spokesperson suggested that in the process of peace Taliban should not be let to create political agency parallel to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan agencies abroad because it would harm the sovereignty and legitimate rights of Afghan government, otherwise it will destroy all the achievements obtained during the last decade by Afghan people in close cooperation of international community.
