Things are looking up for President Obama. A new Washington Post-ABC News poll released Wednesday is showing that a majority of Americans have a favorable impression of the president. The poll shows that 57 percent of those polled had a favorable impression, while 41 percent had an unfavorable impression. The poll was conducted from March 20 to 24, 2013 among a random national sample of 1,014 adults. President Obama’s high marks came as the poll results revealed increased discontent for the U.S. Congress. Of those polled, 65 percent had an unfavorable impression of Congress, while 30 percent had a favorable view.
